Legislative Measures We May See on the November 2026 Ballot
The deadline for placing or removing measures from the November 3 ballot is Thursday, June 25

The California Constitution authorizes the Legislature, by a 2/3 vote of both houses, to place a measure before the voters on an upcoming statewide ballot. The following provides a list of legislative measures on the November general election ballot (3 of them) and a list of measures pending in the Legislature that may make it onto the November ballot. The deadline for placing or removing measures from the November 3 ballot is Thursday, June 25.
Already on the November ballot from the Legislature:
- ACA 13 (Ward) Voting thresholds. (Res. Ch. 176, 2023)
- SCA 1 (Newman) Elections: recall of state officers. (Res. Ch. 204, 2024)
- SB 42 (Umberg) Political Reform Act of 1974: public campaign financing: California Fair Elections Act of 2026. (Ch. 245, 2025)
