National Pro-Abortion Group Stumping for Prop 50 Redistricting Passage
The fight for reproductive freedom is clearly intertwined with the fight for redistricting

Reproductive Freedom for All, a pro-abortion advocacy group previously called “NARAL,” the National Abortion Rights Action League, is campaigning for passage of Proposition 50, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s ballot initiative to redistrict and flip California’s Republican congressional districts mid-decade.
“Our more than 400,000 members in California are working in lock-step with the Prop 50 campaign to educate and drive voters to the polls through phone banks, text banks, canvassing, and digital outreach. In a state with historically strong protections, our members are ready to vote yes on Prop 50 because the fight for reproductive freedom is intertwined with the fight for democracy,” Reproductive Freedom for All says.
That should say, “the fight for reproductive freedom is clearly intertwined with the fight for redistricting.” Laughable.
Reproductive Freedom for All just announced the launch of the “Your Vote, Your Freedom” campaign, a $5 million 2025 electoral program “to turn out voters, hold anti-abortion extremists accountable, and defend against attacks on reproductive freedom in key states.”
It’s curious why their 400,000 members in California are working so diligently in the Abortion Sanctuary State of California since the state now invites abortion travel from other states, paid for by California taxpayers. There aren’t “anti-abortion extremists” in California. And Gov. Newsom even created the California Future of Abortion Council to make California a “Reproductive Freedom State,” but more accurately, an Abortion Sanctuary State.
“The Governor who shut down California’s beaches and legendary tourist attractions, churches, bars and restaurants as a response to the COVID pandemic, is now promoting abortion tourism, inviting tourists to visit California and get an abortion if their own state has abortion restrictions, the Globe reported in 2022.
Gov. Gavin Newsom and the State Legislature offer taxpayer funds to help out-of-state residents obtain abortions, including legalized infanticide.
What is up the sleeves of Reproductive Freedom for All besides agitating for Prop 50 in California?
In Virginia, “We are helping to elect reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot. Our 112,000 members in Virginia are fired up and ready to elect Abigail Spanberger.”
In Pennsylvania, “With 178,000 members statewide, we are mobilizing a powerful grassroots network through calls, texts, and volunteer-led events to protect Pennsylvania’s reproductive freedom champions and counter extremist efforts to restrict abortion access. We have endorsed three state supreme court justices who are up for retention. In this era of non-stop attacks on our freedoms, the courts are some of our strongest defenders.”
In New Jersey, “We are launching an independent expenditure program featuring paid media, phones, and text messages to support leaders defending reproductive rights and health care access.”
Here’s why (hint: TRUMP!):
“Trump and his allies are attacking our rights from every direction, but voters aren’t backing down and neither are we,” said Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. “We’re investing $5 million to fight back and turn out voters who know that access to abortion and health care is on the line in battleground states across the country. We’ve seen it before: When Americans vote, abortion wins. The majority of Americans, no matter their political party, support access to abortion.”
Actually, Americans across parties don’t support abortion, specifically abortion on demand in the 2nd or 3rd trimesters. The vast majority of Americans want abortion heavily restricted.
Influence Watch notes, “As part of its rebranding, the new Reproductive Freedom for All advocates for framing the ability for of abortion access as ‘an American liberty,’ claiming it was messaging used following the 2022 midterm elections. In addition, the new group’s focus includes advocating for, ‘eliminating the Senate filibuster, supporting voting rights and expanding the Supreme Court.’”
They are a political action committee supporting radical causes, more than anything.
On the Reproductive Freedom for All website is “Five Things to Know About Trump’s Proposed VA Abortion Ban – The Trump Administration is proposing a new ban on abortion care and counseling. Here’s what you should know.”

However, the link takes you to:
New Research Brings Visibility to Abortion Access Barriers for South Asia’s Queer Community – Center for Reproductive Rights briefing paper bridges the research gap on abortion access for lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in South Asia.

But, What about TRUMP’s “new ban on abortion care and counseling?” Nothing? Silence?

Oy.
Notably, Previously CEO Mini Timmaraju served as a senior advisor to the director for the Biden Administration’s Office of Personnel Management, national women’s vote director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and as director of the office of the president for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has also served as chief of staff to U.S. Representative Ami Bera (D-CA) and district director for U.S. Rep. Nick Lampson (D-TX), according to Influence Watch.
NARAL Pro-Choice America changed its name to “Reproductive Freedom for All” in 2023, a year after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
As the No on Prop 50 campaign says, “We Cannot Save Democracy by Burning it Down in California.”

No kidding, there IS no connection between Prop 50 and “abortion rights” (*eyeroll*), not when Newsom pushed —- and got, as Katy Grimes noted —- Abortions-R-Us now made available in every possible way and for every possible body including out-of-staters, and all of it just short of infanticide (oh, wait…). But when you’re dealing with the Orange Man Bad zombie crowd AND you’re willing to lie through your teeth (again), I guess you give the absurdities a shot, right? Maybe you can motivate the Go-Go-Abortion people, because it has worked in the past, right?
We can only hope the optics of this kind of thing cause it to finally boomerang on these freaks. Seems like the time is ripe, so it could happen. Meanwhile, sensible voters get your NO on PROP 50 ballots in the mail. And tell everyone you can get your hands on to do the same.
The only good coming out of these evil pro-abortion advocacy groups is that Democrats are aborting their own.
