Assemblyman Carl DeMaio (R-San Diego) just announced that liberal judges have sided with California’s corrupt politicians trying to rig the election against Prop 39’s bipartisan voter ID initiative, after AG Rob Bonta issued a new ballot title to Proposition 39.
“Corrupt politicians are showing every voter why we need to enact Prop 39 to implement a bipartisan solution to Voter ID,” DeMaio said.
The Globe reported:
California Attorney General Rob Bonta faces accusations of rigging the ballot language for Proposition 39, the Voter Identification, Citizenship Verification, and Registered Voter List Administration Initiative, just months before the November 2026 election.
The initiative, which gathered over a million signatures from Democrats, Republicans, and Independents after more than a year of petition circulation under previously approved wording, now faces what opponents call a last-minute rewrite designed to tilt public perception against it.
To note, California law explicitly states that “in providing the ballot title and summary, the Attorney General is required to give a true and impartial statement of the purpose of the measure in such language that the ballot title and summary is neither an argument, nor likely to create prejudice, for or against the proposed measure. The Attorney General is required to invite and consider public comment in preparing each ballot title and summary.”
Original Approved Language (over a year in circulation):
“ESTABLISHES ADDITIONAL VOTER IDENTIFICATION AND CITIZENSHIP VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.”
This version outlined requirements for government-issued ID at the polls (or the last four digits for mail ballots), free voter ID cards, and annual citizenship verification reports by counties.
New language issued by Bonta’s office:
“PROHIBITS CITIZENS FROM VOTING UNLESS THEY PRESENT GOVERNMENT-ISSUED IDENTIFICATION. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.”

It depends on how long they count votes.
Unfortunately, Prop 39 faces an uphill battle regardless of its ballot description. The Democratic party, various public employee unions and Soros-like interests will pour millions of dollars into its defeat. And that doesn’t include the millions of non-citizen/residents who will be allowed to vote.

The Yes On 39 campaign seems asleep at the switch and I’m afraid they’re going to be overwhelmed by the well-funded professionalism of the competition. They’ve known their proposition number for over a month now and still there’s no website. Ron bt the campaing and I’m a voter looking for one. Heck, they haven’t even secured one of the most widely respected domain names like YesOn39.com/.org, YesOnProp38.com/.org or VoteYesOn39.com/.org. All or those are still available as of this writing. WAKE UP “Yes On 39”! You’re being left behind. We need you to WIN for us!
Even if California voters vote to approve Proposition 39, the criminal Democrat thug mafia that controls the state along with their CCP and cartel cronies will use voter fraud and rigged voting machines to make sure that Proposition 39 never passes. Being the evil demonic monsters that they are, they’ll do what ever is necessary to keep in power.
It seems you could write up a combination of the two! We MUST require proper identification and should be prohibited (NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE) without it! Voting in person is so special!
Mail-in should be only for citizens who are unable to get to polls to vote – showing proof (last 4 of valid citizenship ID) on the mail-in ballot to submit it is a great idea – as long as those can be validated. Mail-in should also be required to arrive early to be counted before the end of the Election Day! This would possibly stop the surge of thousands of mail-in’s showing up way after the voting is ended which seems to allow for a sway in the outcome. I grew up having to wait for the privilege of going to the polls to vote.
Sadly many Americans are losing sight of the patriotic pride that comes with that special privilege. Let’s win this!!!
