Rep. Jared Huffman’s Trump Derangement Syndrome is Thriving in Epic Ballroom Rant
Without treatment, it’s going to be a long few years for Rep. Huffman

Every so often a politician makes a statement so ridiculous, so absurd, that it must be addressed.
Like any contagious virus, Trump Derangement Syndrome is thriving in many Democrats.
Rep. Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael), who has a lengthy, seemingly incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, had a hissy fit after the Supreme Court allowed construction on the White House ballroom to continue.
“This ruling is a disgrace and a masterclass in judicial sycophancy,” Huffman said in a statement. “Once again, this extremist MAGA majority on the Supreme Court has proven it functions as little more than a rubber stamp for Trump, letting him roll out his vanity projects and bulldoze the White House for his own glorification through a project Congress never approved and the American people never asked for.”
In July, Huffman accused the President of hijacking America’s 250th Anniversary celebration, declaring financial misconduct, data harvesting, and political favoritism of the very wealthy taking advantage of the American people.”
“Every American should be outraged by what Trump has done to our nation’s 250th birthday celebration. What should have been a once-in-a-generation moment to unite the country has been turned into another vehicle for division, propaganda, and political gain. We uncovered how he hijacked America 250 – watch to see how:”

He was savaged on X. “Do you need a hug? Because you’re one miserable son of a bitch,” someone replied.
“Take your decolonizing ideology and piss off! It’s our 250th birthday, guy. Nobody cares about your vapid ideology except those sitting around you,” another replied.
At the request of Jason Calacanis, Grok reported:
America250 was led by a Bipartisan commission created by Congress in 2016 (nonpartisan, educational focus, led by Rosie Rios). Still active. – **Freedom 250 / Task Force 250**: Created by Trump via Jan 2025 executive order. Chaired by Trump/Vance. Public-private effort for big events (DC fireworks, state fair, etc.). Raises private donations. The report alleges donor access deals, opacity, ideology-pushing, and possible fraud. These are **partisan Democratic accusations** — no court findings or independent probes confirmed yet. Trump admin calls it delivering a grand celebration. Both sides are running parallel efforts. Classic partisan fight over who controls the narrative and funding for July 4, 2026.
In a Facebook post, Huffman said:
Donald Trump can try to turn America’s 250th into a gilded tribute to himself, but that’s not who we are. Join me in celebrating what actually makes this country great: our people, our public lands, and our shared values.
No one joined him.
Back to today’s rant from Huffman about the White House Ballroom:
“Families are paying more for groceries, rent, and healthcare while this administration pours its time and taxpayer money into Trump’s gilded monstrosity all just to indulge his self-absorbed imperial delusions and throw bigger parties for his billionaire donors.
“It is shameless, grotesque, and a complete slap in the face to every single American taxpayer footing the bill. This neutered Supreme Court might be rolling over for its master, but that doesn’t mean this is over. Democrats are still hitting the courts with legal challenges and will keep fighting this corrupt assault on our democracy and rule of law.”
Notably, Jared Huffman spends a lot of official time thinking about Donald Trump, as these headlines show.

Today’s ballroom rant is just another real-time example of Huffman’s incurable, long-term TDS infection.
Some might refer to this as political hysteria resulting in latent theater-kid performances.
But Huffman’s hyperbolic rants don’t stop at the ballroom or America’s 250th. He once accused President Trump of “playing the role of would-be Fuehrer.”
In an op-ed in the Times-Standard and Marin Independent Journal, Huffman wrote that Trump’s attempt to “use chaos to shred democratic safeguards and consolidate authoritarian power” was “deadly serious,” adding: “This is our own Reichstag fire and, yes, Trump is playing the role of would-be Fuehrer, proclaiming a ‘God-given signal’ to seize more power.” He warned that failure to recognize it could produce a “Reichstag redux.”
Oddly, the treatment plan for Huffman’s Trump Derangement Syndrome is similar to treatment for narcissistic personality disorder.
Psychotherapy can help you:
- Learn to relate better with others so your relationships are closer, more enjoyable and more rewarding.
- Understand the causes of your emotions and what drives you to compete, to distrust others, and to dislike others and possibly yourself.
The focus is to help you accept responsibility and learn to
- Accept and maintain real personal relationships and work together with co-workers.
- Recognize and accept your actual abilities, skills and potential so you can tolerate criticism or failures.
- Increase your ability to understand and manage your feelings.
- Understand and learn how to handle issues related to your self-esteem.
- Learn to set and accept goals that you can reach instead of wanting goals that are not realistic.
Without treatment, it’s going to be a long few years for Rep. Huffman. This doctor may be able to help:

Who is this weirdo Democrat Rep. Jared Huffman Huffman that suffers from terminal TDS?
He was born in Independence, Missouri where his family were members of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1982 and in 1986 received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He graduated from Boston College Law School in 1990, and then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Why do these far left Democrat nut cases always end up in California?
He then worked in a succession of legal positions, culminating in six years as a senior attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council which is a radical far left environmental advocacy organization that focuses on climate change and environmental justice. In 1994, he was elected to the Marin Municipal Water District where he served on the board for 12 years, including three terms as its president.
In 2006, he won the seat for the 6th Assembly District and his victory over more politically connected opponents was considered a surprise. Huffman represented the 6th district in the California State Assembly from 2006 to 2012 and has served as the U.S. representative for California’s 2nd congressional district since 2013.
In November 2023, Huffman was one of only 24 Democrats to vote against H. Res. 798, a resolution that condemned Hamas and Hezbollah support on university campuses. He later reluctantly issued a public apology to the Jewish community after facing intense criticism from Jewish American groups and constituents.
In August 2026, Huffman released his book, No Prophets: The Fight to Save Democracy from Christian Nationalism, in which he argues that Christian nationalism is “America’s most dangerous political movement.” Huffman is the only elected member of the U.S. House who openly describes himself as religiously unaffiliated and a secular humanist. Huffman is also the only member of Congress who openly rejects the existence of God stating that he doesn’t believe in life after death.
Democrat Rep. Jared Huffman has an estimated net worth of ~$1.7 million as of August 2026 per Quiver Quantitative including a Washington, D.C. residence (valued around $750K, with rental income) and a home in San Rafael, CA where the median home value is between $1.3 to $1.4 million dollars.
Rep. Jared Huffman is just another shady lawyer who has never started or ran a business and he would probably fail if he tried? He’s been a burden on taxpayers most of his career? The only white men like Rep. Jared Huffman who are still in the Democrat party, which despises and hates white men, have to be corrupt to the core?
One is reminded of the bathroom graffiti declaring…. God id Dead – Nitsche … crossed out and written underneath …….Nitsche is dead, God.
Rep. Jared Huffman is running for re-election in the November 3 election, in California’s newly configured 2nd congressional district, which includes much of far West Sonoma County up to and across the northernmost part of the state to the Nevada border.
Rep. Jared Huffman is currently on a national book tour schlepping his idiotic book, “No Prophets: The Fight to Save Democracy from Christian Nationalism” which must be a tedious read at 220 pages with a ridiculous cost of $28.99 from the W.W. Norton & Company. Huffman opened his tour at the Finley Center in Santa Rosa with an event sponsored by Copperfield’s Books that featured questions and conversations with author-actor Peter Coyote in front of a sold-out audience of 250 brainwashed leftist Democrat loons. Huffman told his Santa Rosa audience “After Jan. 6, I’m afraid, as a nation, we went back to sleep” laughably decrying the “anti-democracy threats of radical Christian Nationalists” and saying that “I fear we have a lot to do.”
Apparently Susan Huffman, wife of Jared Huffman, assisted Jared in his “scholarly research” for his book on Christian nationalism. She’s a public school teacher (aka Marxist indoctrinator) who resides with him in San Rafael where they have two teenagers (No doubt they’ll end up being brainwashed leftists with one or both of them end up being radicalized members of the LGBT++++ mafia?)
Unfortunately Jared Huffman has already advanced to the November 3, 2026 general election after winning the June 2 primary in California’s newly configured 2nd Congressional District. The district was redrawn following the passage of Proposition 50, which expanded Huffman’s territory eastward to include Shasta, Siskiyou, and Modoc counties. This change transformed his previously leftist coastal-focused seat into California’s largest congressional district, stretching from Marin County to the Nevada border and incorporating some of the state’s most conservative, rural communities. Hopefully there will be enough votes to end Jared Huffman’s political career of leftist terrorism and he’ll have to get a real job? Don’t count on it because members of California’s criminal Democrat thug mafia always go from one political job to another being installed with Democrat voter fraud and rigged voting machines?

TDS is an adrenalin booster for those terminally depressed. They refuse conventional treatment, choosing instead daily self-inoculations of feckless rage and anger.
The proper response is, do you want a cookie?
This is hyperbolic stupidity. The Democrats in Congress have created a “Straw Man” because the groups that they chose to send to the Supreme Court have no Standing.. The Democrats in Congress could have sued themselves and had Standing, but they chose not to! The Democrats do not want to stop the ballroom. They just want something to point at, just like the idiotic argument over the reflecting pool. At least Trump wants to fix some of the things the Democrats do not really care about.
