First elected into congress in 1987, Speaker Emirata Nancy Pelosi, 85, won’t seek reelection in 2026. According to multiple sources in California and Washington D.C., NBC News reports that Pelosi is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday after the Proposition 50 election in California.
NEW w/@jonallendc: Multiple Democratic elected officials and top aides in CA and Washington tell @NBCNews they believe NANCY PELOSI will choose not to seek re-election in 2026, after nearly four decades representing her San Francisco-based district.

NBC News reports:
I think she’s preparing to exit the stage,” said a House Democratic leadership aide.
“I wish she would stay for 10 more years,” said one House Democrat from California. “I think she’s out. She’s going to go out with Prop 50 overwhelmingly passing, and what a crowning achievement for her to do that.”
In political circles in the Bay Area, the tea leaves increasingly point to her standing down, according to a Democratic elected official in the region.
“Most people think it is highly unlikely that she will run for another term,” this official said.
Speaker Pelosi famously said that Congress must pass Obamacare to “find out what was in it.” Over a decade later, and during what is poised to be the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, Americans are finding out the “Affordable Care Act” was neither affordable or caring, as it was designed to fail without government subsidies, skyrocketing insurance premiums, and millions losing their private health insurance. If you like your doctor, you can..oh, never mind.

On Tuesday, Republicans are poised to lose any and all representation in California if Proposition 50 passes to fulfill Pelosi’s quest for unilateral control and power.
In a recent interview with the San Francisco Examiner, Pelosi rambled about kings and doubled-down on Prop 50 to “stop a lot of the poison [Trump] is putting in there:”
“Here’s the thing: We must win the House. If you talk about ‘no kings,’ we must win the House to put a stop to this. We won’t be able to get many things done, but we’ll be able to stop a lot of the poison that he’s putting there, and the best antidote to poison is to win the election,” Pelosi told the Examiner.
“There’s a lot riding on this because this is the path to our winning the House,” Pelosi continued. “We will win the House regardless, but winning it big, and we want to win November 4 big.”
Pelosi spokesperson Ian Krager denied the rumors of Pelosi’s retirement, telling NBC News, “Speaker Pelosi is fully focused on her mission to win the Yes on 50 special election in California on Tuesday. She urges all Californians to join in that mission on the path to taking back the House for Democrats.”
After NBC published the scoop, Krager wrote on X: “Any discussion of her future plans beyond that mission is pure speculation. Those who know do not speak. Those who speak do not know.”
What is known is her potential challengers who seek to carry the progressive torch that has burnt the Democratic stronghold into the ground, adding to the carnage, crime, abandoned storefronts, and human excrement lining the streets of Pelosi’s back yard.
Last month the Globe reported that California Scott Weiner was “done waiting for Pelosi to retire” after progressive candidate Saikat Chakrabarti announced he is running against Pelosi. Chakrabarti made his millions in tech before serving as a campaign manager and chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

His “Scott Wiener for Congress” website claims, “For the past 26 years, Senator Scott Wiener has worked day and night for San Francisco, never giving up until the job is done. As a State Senator, former member of the Board of Supervisors, and longtime community leader, he has championed progressive policies on housing, healthcare access (including for mental health and drug addiction), public transit, climate action, criminal justice reform, civil rights, consumer protection, and other critical issues,” Weiner’s website claims.
Although curiously unmentioned is Wiener’s political priorities, including honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Drag Nuns and Trans People, which the Globe covered when the California Senate LGBTQ Caucus held a “Recognition Ceremony” Honoring Drag Nuns and Trans People in 2023.
Anyone unfamiliar with the LGBTQIA+ lawmaker should look at Weiner’s legislative history and voting record.
One of the most abhorrent bills Senator Wiener ever authored and Governor Gavin Newsom signed was Senate Bill 145 that lowered the penalties for adults who have sex with same-sex minors. SB 145 allows a 24 year old to have sex with a 14 year old and escape a felony conviction and requirement to be a registered sex offender.
The Globe will continue to provide updates on Pelosi’s expected announcement and the results of Tuesday’s Prop 50 special election.

Here’s the rough draft of her speech : ” I got mine, and my work is done here…”
Once Weiner elected we’ll be praying to God for Pelosi’s return.
Both are evil and demonic Democrats who’ve been installed into office with voter fraud.
Only Hair-gel Hitler Newsom’s mentally ill troll Eyeinthesky would post something so nonsensical.
