Trump Admin – 365 Wins in 365 Days Back in Office are Wins for the People

What a difference an election makes

By Katy Grimes, February 1, 2026 9:47 am

President Donald Trump and his administration hit the ground running, with a mandate to restore prosperity, secure the border, rebuild American strength, and put the American people first.

What a difference an election makes. We went from open borders and record crime to negative net migration for the first time in 50 years to the largest homicide drop on record.

Trump imposed tariffs to restore trade balance and in return the U.S. has received trillions in reshored investments.

He’s brokered peace deals ending multiple wars. We have record energy production (not in California) and he’s made massive cuts to the federal bureaucracy.

President Trump has put America First with urgency.

Many of his “wins” are also wins for Californians, despite the Democrat Supermajority and Governor Gavin Newsom. Imagine what California could be with a governor and Legislature that loved the state more than the perks and lifestyle from being in elected office.

Here are just some of the highlights from President Trump’s first 365 days back in office including one you may not be aware of… President Trump signed an executive order to end the use of paper straws:

  • Achieved negative net migration in 2025, reversing a 50-year trend and restoring U.S. control over immigration flows for the first time in a generation.
  • Removed more than 2.6 million illegal aliens from the United States through deportations and voluntary self-departures.
  • Carried out over 650,000 arrests, detentions, and deportations of illegal aliens — including the worst of the worst criminal illegal alien killers, rapists, gang members, and repeat offenders.
  • Deported more than 400,000 illegal aliens charged with or convicted of crimes.
  • Induced two million self-deportations by ending Biden-era release incentives and restoring credible consequences.
  • Reduced illegal border crossings to their lowest level since the 1970s, completely eradicating the Biden-era invasion.
  • Cut fentanyl trafficking at the southern border by 56%.
  • Permanently ended dangerous “catch-and-release” policies nationwide by detaining illegal aliens rather than releasing them into the interior — resulting in a 99.9% decrease in illegals being released into the country during the Biden era.
  • Cut the number of new foreign students in the U.S. by 17%.
  • Removed 275,000 illegal aliens from Social Security rolls, protecting program integrity.
  • Delivered the largest one-year decline in homicides in U.S. history by launching targeted federal crime crackdowns and ending Biden-era non-enforcement.
  • Reversed the nationwide violent crime surge, driving nationwide drops in rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults by 6%, 19%, and 10%, respectively.
  • Cut overdose deaths by 21% over last year, with overdose deaths declining each month since President Trump took office.
  • Drove gas prices to their lowest level in nearly five years, with prices below $3 per gallon in 43 states and below $2 per gallon in 19 states.
  • Created 654,000 private-sector jobs following deregulation, tax relief, and restored investment confidence.
  • Ensured 100% of net job growth went to native-born Americans by enforcing immigration laws.
  • Achieved massive economic growth, with real GDP rising 4.3% in the third quarter of 2025 — smashing economists’ expectations and setting the stage for future growth, with GDP projected to be even higher in the fourth quarter as President Trump’s policies continue to take effect.

  • Terminated wasteful foreign aid programs inconsistent with America First priorities through a $5 billion pocket rescission.
  • Reversed onerous Biden-era fuel economy standards that would have added nearly $1,000 to the cost of the average new vehicle, delivering billions in savings for consumers.

  • Sent tariff revenues soaring, collecting $300 billion under expanded enforcement and new policies.

  1. Thanks so much, Katy, for highlighting this year’s worth of Trump Admin accomplishments. So many, it has the effect of relieving —- one by one —- the pressurized feeling of what has been a suffocating tyranny-lite. We can actually start to breathe again! Even in California.

    1. Do you understand the last paragraph
“Incredibly, when setting monetary policy, the Fed ignores the value of the dollar and the impact taxes and regulations have on economic activity. This is like ignoring weather conditions when flying an airplane. A stable dollar—not trying to manipulate the economy through setting interest rates—should be the Fed’s goal. We already have a dicey global situation, with huge debts, too little growth and weak currencies everywhere, as evidenced by the price of gold.”
In other words it’s all relative, and we should stop trying to manipulate the worlds economies.

  2. How did i just know that the site’s favorite TDS victim Eyeinthesky would be one of the first posters to complain about Trump…

    Katy, you can add
    * Drove Trump Deranged “progressives” to distraction
    to that long list….

      1. What is your problem? You need to go back and take basic economics. AI is changing the nature of jobs, and in some jobs humans already have become superfluious. Should companies be forced to keep them on if they add no value? Or shpuld those displaced find other gainful employment instead? This is the debate over GMI, I’m sure you are all for it!

      2. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/ups-will-cut-30k-more-jobs-after-massive-2025-layoffs-as-it-ends-amazon-partnership/ar-AA1V6X7z?ocid=BingNewsSerp

UPS drivers can earn up to $170k per year. These cuts are in response to an overly generous contract. This isn’t the first time that UPS has gone through this layoff dance. Amazon can’t deliver cheap products through expensive UPS shipping costs. Rising costs will eventually give way to the old fashion brick and mortar shopping. History tells us that Sears started out as an analog catalog store in 1892 and didn’t open in retail until 1925. What’s old is new and what’s new is old. It’s called a cycle.

      3. This is a dumb propaganda article from leftist AP. The bottom line is the economy is adding jobs, not losing them. Cherry picking a bunch of worker bloated poorly run companies, and declaring the economy dying is stupid.

The real problem is many people lack critical thinking skills, and buy in on this leftist propaganda without exercising even one brain cell to determine if the premise of the article is true. They can’t think for themselves. They are told what to think.

  3. The most effective method to destroy a culture and country is to pummell the value of that country’s currency. The dollar is crashing with reference to gold and for the Kool aid consumers, against other worldy fiat currencies.

The value of the world’s fiat currencies are all controlled by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Bank of International Settlement: These entire aren’t your friends. Gold is the only instrument deserving of sacrosanctity. Instead we’ve empowered mortals with agendas and unquestioned “goldly” credibility and status: The termination of the legacy USA an objective Trump working to fulfill lest he’d be persurving your and my assets; he’s not rather the opposite!

The president can be removed from power while the chairman of the Fed can’t; the stupidity of Americans is beyond belief!

Either Donald Trump isn’t who most believe he is or he’s lost cogneszence of the seriousness of the matter.

Stoking inflation will drive the masses to desperation and drag the Mamdani’s out of the woodwork come election time.

Denying the reality of matters and thus the abandonment of objectivity may portent of other issues.

  4. Gosh, what utter whitewashed propaganda!

Here’s the truth and reality about Trump…

“Starting in the 2015 presidential race against 16 GOP primary opponents, Trump’s vituperative attacks were unleashed. Never in American history have words from a politician’s mouth ever metastasized into such unchallenged electoral victory and domination. His daily, hourly bullying verbal abuses flooded THE MASS MEDIA, which faithfully transmitted to tens of millions of people like clockwork – lying or false statements and tweets in the tens of thousands…. [Trump’s] violating with impunity federal criminal statutes (See the December 18, 2019, Congressional Record, H-12197), violating the Constitution, defying over 125 Congressional subpoenas, and … making “obstruction of justice a daily practice in the White House” … The media has also reported his many corruptions, lies, ignorance of facts, bigotry, sexual escapades, and indictments – to no avail. The MAGA crowd just gets bigger. All the exposés, helped by blunders of prosecutors and partisan Trump judges, have fallen off Teflon Trump like water off a duck’s back… [Trump] pushes bloated military budgets, lawlessness and police powers, all of which are the frameworks of American fascism.” — Ralph Nader, American Consumer Advocate & Former Presidential Candidate (https://archive.ph/jwAYx)

    Yet…

“The masses have never thirsted after truth. They turn aside from evidence that is not to their taste, preferring to deify error, if error seduces them. Whoever can supply them with illusions is easily their master; whoever attempts to destroy their illusions is always their victim.” — Gustave Le Bon, in 1895

What got Trump, or just about any other president, “elected” is the willful ignorance and utter foolishness of the masses who are dedicated to fantasies and illusions instead of truth and reality — see https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html

“Before people can do anything, they have to know what is going on. Before they can come together and talk and make plans, they have to know what is going on. No action is possible without knowledge. So this is the first step in any revolution. If you don’t know what you are up against, you have no chance of defeating it. You cannot organize or lead people who aren’t aware of what is going on around them, or what has happened in recent history. I have tried to talk to well-meaning people around town, but it is pointless. They have no idea how the world works. They want to talk about Trump or Congress or some article in the New York Times or some show they saw on CNN. These people have to be deprogrammed before you even think of asking them to act in any way.” — Miles Mathis, American author

“Trump is marginally better on a few manufactured tangential issues like men in women’s sports, DEI, food coloring, sex-change surgeries, and things like that, but on the largest issues both parties agree: we will continue to have a trillion-dollar military budget that delivers nothing but poverty and lies; a half-trillion Intel budget, ditto; police on every corner and cameras on every tree; a medical establishment run amok; regulatory agencies owned by those who they are supposed to be regulating, and corporations fatally polluting the entire world; and a country run by a shadow elite composed of evil trillionaires.” — Miles Mathis, American Physicist
