Wildlife Violator Compact

Fish and Game Code Division 2, Chapter 1.5 deals with the Wildlife Violator Compact under the Department of Fish and Wildlife. Article 1 concerns general provisions.

Section 716 created the Wildlife Violator Compact and entered into it with all other participating states. Section 716.1 provides eight policy statements for this state in entering into the compact. Section 716.2 specifies two purposes of this chapter.

Article 2 deals with definitions. Section 716.3 defines the following terms: “board,” “citation,” “collateral,” “compact manual,” “compliance,” “compliance,” “conviction,” “court,” “home state,” “issuing state,” “license,” “licensing authority,” “participating state,” “personal recognizance,” “state,” “suspension,” “terms of the citation,” “wildlife,” “wildlife law,” “wildlife officer,” and “wildlife violation.”
