Gaza Ceasefire, BLM: Who’s Behind the Protests?

The petite yet loud-mouthed woman at San Francisco’s city hall recent hearings over the Gaza Ceasefire Resolution is Lara Kiswani. She was front and center at several public comment days in chambers, baby wriggling in her arms. Kiswani was seen on video unleashing antisemitic, anti-Israel propaganda. Perhaps you saw these videos.

Three miles from San Francisco’s City Hall is the headquarters for Tides organization, a philanthropic grant-making nonprofit, in a part of the city called The Presidio. At this modest building, the multi-layered Tides organization flies under the radar as it coordinates the most radical, disruptive and revolutionary public policy upheaval today. Asking friends, colleagues, people I meet on the street, virtually no one knows of Tides.

Tides manages multiple social justice funds and initiatives for social change, as either a grant-making organization or as a “fiscal sponsor”. When a startup nonprofit has not yet gained IRS tax-exempt 501c3 status, Tides, (indeed many other nonprofits already having 501c3 designation) can act as a financial, fiscal, sponsor – a flow-through entity receiving donations, for that new startup. Tides acts a such sponsor for dozens of hopeful activism-oriented nonprofits.

The Tides organization is actually an umbrella organization, with subsidiaries such as Tides Advocacy (political campaign contributions), Tides Group (lobbying), Tides Network, Tides Center, Tides Two Rivers Fund, and Tides, Inc. From their Presidio office they raise, manage and disperse literally tens to hundreds of millions of dollars annually, over the years.

Previously, we’ve learned of a connection between law-abiding democracy-nemesis George Soros and his money gifted to influence rogue District Attorney election outcomes. Soros’ Open Society Fund donates to Tides. Anti-Israel activism since the start of the Hamas war October 7th has also been financially supported by Soros and Tides.

Lara Kiswani spent hours on end last December and again last week at San Francisco City Hall in demanding, screaming, bullying the city’s Board of Supervisors to pass a ceasefire resolution. Packing the hearing’s chambers were Palestinian flagged, keffiyeh wrapped and masked activists spewing hateful rhetoric which we’ve seen played out over and over. Kiswani sat front row center, always in camera view. And she’s hiding in plain sight. Actually, she’s not even trying to obfuscate involvement in the organization behind the pro-Ceasefire circus. She’s the president.

Speaking into the camera, she proudly announces her name and her being head of AROC, Arab Resource & Organizing Center. Remember the public school student walkouts last October? AROC organized that. The blocking of operations at the Port of Oakland just today was also an AROC operation. Local parents demand AROC be kicked out of schools programs they’ve been awarded contracts for.

The paper trail from radical AROC activism, AROC-led political lobbying and influence, and Lara Kiswani, is tied to Tides, as AROC is fiscally sponsored by the Tides organization. The direct connection is made, and is unmistakable.

George Soros’s Open Society not only provides funding to Tides, his fund also donated to Real Justice PAC in 2018 to get disastrous “District Attorney” Chesa Boudin elected. In 2020, Black Lives Matter was brought in and is under the fiscal sponsorship of Tides. 

Tides, Soros and societal upheavals are becoming well documented. We need to now call it out those funding it and providing material support..

Look at the activists on the street protesting, shouting, vandalizing, and now, strongarming legislators over these last few years. Similarities between the BLM protesters, the Ceasefire activists and support of rogue DAs are unmistakable. In fact, they very well may be the same actual people. As we discovered, the movement is apparently financed by the same organizations. It’s time we San Franciscans (and the IRS) look into AROC and the Tides organization, without delay.
