Trump Will Not Establish a Fascist Regime; It’s Already Here

Let’s open the curtain and remove the masks, to reveal the most macabre fear-mongering propaganda campaign in American history.

Let’s jump right into a question that many are already answering as a very frightening statement: Will President Donald Trump establish a fascist, authoritarian regime? A tyrannical dictatorship that will end democracy and would even dare to massacre American citizens using the Armed Forces against its own people?

When I’ve seen people, from AOC to Kamala Harris to ALL the corporate media; from “news” networks to late night show comedians turned into cheap propagandists, make comments about Trump being a fascist who will end everything; even annihilate you, dear reader. I just wonder what happens in the United States. So, having all this in contect, two things come to mind; If you believe such madness, I’m sorry but honestly you do not know your own country or the legal and institutional foundations that protect the nation. So believing such insanity, in part, is an act of ignorance… even against you, your family and friends, increasing division and generating a narrative full of fear, anxiety and social division..

And number two: There is a distortion propaganda against Trump so that you, your friends and acquaintances, are afraid of what will happen in the coming years… and they, we can call them the Democratic Party, the extreme left, whatever, but it is undoubtedly an operation strategically orchestrated to instill fear against none other than the nation’s elected president.

I can’t blame you. The truth is; the bombardment of propaganda against Trump and directed to the American people is wild and depraved; his family, his cabinet… 

Every movement he makes becomes an objective, with every comment they look for a way to distort his words. I have never seen anything like this in my 30 years as a journalist. Tha crazy thing is he hasn’t even started to govern with all his strength. 

The “Fascist” regime

In November 2024 I read an article in The New Yorker. It honestly seemed like  a satire… but it wasn’t, it was serious. It was as serious as it was completely meaningless and with a poor level of analysis that the writer’s extremism and hatred for Donald Trump made him look, at least from my perspective, like another ordinary propagandist . But when I read the opening of the article, I thought: well, here comes the real war against Trump, and there is a lot of money, power and desire to dominate the American people, because the following was published in that article… and is crazy:

“Trump takes the tools of dictators and adapts them for the Internet. We should expect him to try to cling to power until death, and create a cult of January 6th martyrs.”

What kind of ethics a writer possesses so can instill such words of fear in readers. What is the basis, source, and facts for making such an allegation/accusation? After reading the entire article, as long and boring as unnecessary, it was only about Trump saying things that… Well, the author considers to be fascist.

And here I will stop. Fascism. In America there is talk of a dictatorship by Trump… I’ll tell you something, I am Venezuelan and I live in Venezuela. In a true tyrannical dictatorship, supported by terrorist groups and drug cartels. I have been taken to two trials for denouncing the evil and crimes of Chavismo and I was tortured during a night by the regime’s paramilitary groups, just for publishing the truth… fascism, dictatorship? I’ll tell you something: in a truly inhuman dictatorship, at this moment my life is in danger just for writing this. This is the level of horror that is experienced in a dictatorship and not the tears that Kimmel can shed in his terrible program or the meaningless words of Kamala and AOC, stealing many versions of Marx’s communist manifesto. Or these women from The View who represent the worst of American society.

 So, if it is assumed that Trump will create a fascist regime, we must ask ourselves, what does a fascist regime consist of? And here is when you will be surprised. 

First of all, fascism is an authoritarian ideology that vehemently attacks the political opposition… In what way? Appropriating the media and generating narratives of fear and discrediting their enemies. For fascists, propaganda is the weapon to use to control the thoughts of citizens.

Then, the fascists love to go to war, that’s their thing; the cult of violence, anti-semitism, and something fundamental: fascism is opposed to liberalism. 

Well, let’s analyze this coldly and objectively: Were there wars during the first Trump administration? Was there antiseminism on the university campus… the cradle of the future leaders and professionals of a country? And here comes the key to everything. The extreme left has done everything so well to do everything that a fascist regime does but knowing how to hide it… well, as much as they can. In fascism, all the media and important public figures go straight to destroying the political rival… I don’t know what you think, but all the media have battered Trump, in a way never seen before. All the major established media are against him. This, in other words: is fascism. 

And finally, fascism is opposed to liberalism. But… Have you not noticed that liberals no longer act like liberals? Since this whole WOKE distortion was developed and wanted to erase American history and cancel anyone who is against them, we see the perfect example of applying a reverse strategy: the extreme left creates the woke movement as if it were a phenomenon of openness and inclusion, when it is the opposite: it is absolutist: if you are not with me, you do not accept what I say, if you do not change your way of being with respect to our vision of the world… you will be canceled. 

That… that’s what fascism is about. Of being under threat and fear of not being able to express your ideas because they will destroy you.  This is… control. Everything that  fascists crave.

And yet, the great propaganda campaign… because the traditional media in the United States ceased to exist and now we have large propaganda agencies, announce that Trump will establish a fascist regime. Well, I’m sorry to tell you that he is late. And now his job is to restore the values, love, courage, faith and feeling of what it means to be American. I am Venezuelan…. But as a citizen of the world, I wish the 47th president of the United States all the success possible.

But the most important thing: know your history, your country’s history. We Venezuelans never pay the required attention to it. And I’ve been watching what was once a prosperous country crumble for a couple of decades. Please don’t let that happen to you.
