‘Grantifa’ Dominates ‘No Kings’ Geriatric Protests

“Grantifa” dominated the “No Kings” protests Saturday… Oops, I meant to say, the geriatric protests on Saturday.

These protest were hilarious, and truly entertaining, but there was a freak-show quality to most of them. I especially appreciate the two “mature” fellows above who brought their own metal folding chairs to this protest in Jackson.

Denying that they are paid protestors, and putting that idiocy in a sign is amusing.

That dude (or is that a chick?) in the chicken hat is definitely not my neighbor:

“Grandparents Against Fascism.”

“Grandma’s against Fascism.”

“Grandpops against Fascism.”

Don’t they look like loads of fun. Look at the crowd of protestors… is there anyone under 75?

But it’s far more sinister that a bunch of aging hippies protesting TRUMP!

The “No Kings” protest agenda is well-funded by leftist-run nonprofits, big labor, Democrats, Democrat PACs, billionaire oligarchs, and even pro-Palestine – anti-Israel organizations. There’s nothing organic or grassroots about these well-coordinated protests.

And billionaire George Soros has his grubby fingers all over these protests.

Fox News reported Saturday:

Billionaire donor George Soros is reportedly funding many of the organizations leading the “No Kings” protests, like Indivisible, whose co-founders, Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin, received a $3 million two-year grant last year from Soros’s Open Society Foundations for “social welfare activities.” Details about the “Palestine Contingent” weaving into the “No Kings” protests raises new questions about the way big Democratic donors like Soros are funneling nonprofit dollars into a professional protest industry that is fractious, divisive and partisan, potentially in violation of tax and nonprofit laws.

And:

New York City organizers embedded in the global intifada to destroy the state of Israel moved Friday to join the controversial “No Kings” protests planned for today, despite the peace deal reached between Israel and Hamas.

“UAW Labor for Palestine” and “NYC Labor for Palestine” quietly posted a call-to-action for the “Palestine Labor Solidarity Contingent” to meet Saturday at 11 a.m. at Duarte Square at the corner of Grand Street and Canal Street in midtown Manhattan and then flow into the #NoKings protests planned to protest President Donald Trump.

They’re not alone. Around the country, anti-Israel blocs are slotting themselves into the “No Kings” protests as a “Palestine Contingent” and “Socialist Contingent,” positioning their messages “front and center,” as Seattle activists put it, “from Providence to Palestine.”

News Nation reported on the paid protestors:

One woman, who calls herself a “compensated activist,” told NewsNation it’s more complicated than that. The woman, who went by the pseudonym “Tanya” for this story, says she works with the firm Crowds on Demand, a company that organizes protests.

Tanya said she helps recruit paid protesters for events the company has been hired for and works with Crowds on Demand CEO Adam Swart to help organize and coordinate events.

“I’m watching, I’m there, I’m making sure everything goes well and everything remains peaceful, and we’re following the rules and making sure everything is up to par. That’s my job,” she said.

These aging hippies aren’t your parent’s hippie friends. These frumpy, aging Democrats are angry leftists, and getting compensated and perhaps a Happy Meal thrown in for their fury, judging by their location.

I really like the guy in the blue shark costume, and his matching socks and sandals.

The “RESIST” Grantifa sign holder sitting in the camp chair is putting a lot of effort into her protest. This observer nailed it:

President Donald Trump recently announced that he signed an executive order declaring Antifa a domestic terrorist organization:

“Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law.  It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.  This campaign involves coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists.  Antifa recruits, trains, and radicalizes young Americans to engage in this violence and suppression of political activity, then employs elaborate means and mechanisms to shield the identities of its operatives, conceal its funding sources and operations in an effort to frustrate law enforcement, and recruit additional members.  Individuals associated with and acting on behalf of Antifa further coordinate with other organizations and entities for the purpose of spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech.  This organized effort designed to achieve policy objectives by coercion and intimidation is domestic terrorism.

I hereby designate Antifa as a “domestic terrorist organization.”

Do these paid protestors claiming to be your neighbors “obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists?”

The Economic Times reported on George Soros’ funding of the anti-Trump, “No Kings” protests:

Records show that OSF has funneled $7.6 million in grants to Indivisible, one of three major progressive coalitions behind No Kings. They make up a sizable chunk of the group’s roughly $12 million revenue each year. The donations, including a $3 million grant in 2023, were issued through the Open Society Action Fund ‘to support the grantee’s social welfare activities,’ disclosures show, according to The Daily Mail.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has been all over the Soros foundations funding the  anti-Trump ‘No Kings’ protests nationwide:

“Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was the first to sound the alarm on ties between Soros and the “No Kings” protest during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday, saying ‘There’s considerable evidence that George Soros and his network are behind funding these rallies, which may well be riots all across the country.'”

Meanwhile, back at the geriatric, lackluster Grantifa “No Kings” protests, they should have had comfy chaise loungers:

As we passed through this intersection, you could hear the 1960’s “Hey hey! Ho ho!” chant, with the oh-so-clever “Donald Trump has got to go!”

But the best part is the rest of the “Hey hey! Ho ho!” chant:

These oligarchs have got to go
These billionaires have got to go
These government cuts have got to go
These SNAP cuts have got to go
These Medicaid cuts have got to go
These CHIP cuts have got to go

Hahahahaha. A billionaire oligarch is funding their stupid protests!

And who could forget this quippy chant:

When I say we want you say JUSTICE
We want JUSTICE
We want JUSTICE
When I say we want you say DEMOCRACY
When I say we want you say NO KINGS
When I say we want you say NO CROWNS
When I say we want you say NO THRONES
When I say Justice you say FOR ALL

The day ended with a spirited chorus of “We Shall Overcome,” led by Pete Seeger and Joan Baez. Jane Fonda wasn’t available.

Don’t forget to purchase your Grantifa Old Women Against Fascists T-Shirt – it’s a real doozy:

to be worn with the memorable “pussyhat” from the 2017 Women’s March:

  1. I wasn’t in time to see the protest itself, but I was near the Safeway, across the street, later in the day, and saw one of the protest signs leaned against the wall, near a trash can. I helped it into it’s rightful resting place.

  2. Grantifa! Love it!! We saw a couple of these freak shows around Lake Tahoe yesterday and you are describing the crowd spot on. And Jimmy, thank you for your civic duty, much appreciated. It’s like these old hippies are trying to channel their Glory Days of protests. The left really has a lock on mental illness these days. They are all always tilting at windmills…..

  3. The only things you will never see or hear at a No Kings protest are solutions. Solutions to what? Well, Katy Grimes has done a great job enumerating many of the problems we face, particularly in California: Homelessness, drug addiction, poverty, exorbitant taxes, rampant crime, defunded police, terrible roads, worse public schools, businesses exiting daily, ever-expanding government agencies but no solutions. Instead you get screeching, epithets and “adults” wearing asinine costumes. The protestors forget that the millions of Americans who voted their nonsense out of office are watching. I am thoroughly unpersuaded by a 60-year-old wearing a chicken costume.

  4. OH! At first I thought the low-energy oldster-hippie crowd was being CALLED “Grantifa” in a spirit of good-natured ribbing. Didn’t realize that was what they were calling THEMSELVES!
Hmm.. maybe we should buy the T-shirt and wear it for the Halloween trick-or-treating crowd who come to the door? On second thought, no, forget it. Too scary.

  5. How pathetic? These Grantifa losers probably took too many recreational drugs back in the day and they’re also probably vaxxed and boosted to the max? Their brains are completely fried? Many of them easy marks for the leftist oligarchs who promise them a few bucks and a Happy Meal to drag their tired old carcasses out there for these lame No King protests?

Youtuber Angela Rose went to the No Kings protest in Denver wearing a MAGA hat and found it was mostly hostile old white baby boomers and weirdos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzTQ89TXROk).

    1. On the No Kings Denver video (so good) I swear this is the same crowd of wackos —- now 10 years older —- who showed up in downtown L.A. when Trump was first elected. They came out of their clown houses, or buses, or whatever, on Inauguration Day in 2017 with their stupid signs about every crazy thing you can think of and wandered around the empty streets for a few hours. I think they go on the road from city to city with this nonsense. This is apparently how they make a “living” because they are paid, of course. Anarchists and radical “feminists” and furries and losers of every description. And a few hangers-on just looking for something to do or something to go along with. Pathetic for sure.

      1. Katy Grimes mentioned a Fox news report indicating that George Soros, who is Jewish, is funding many of the organizations leading the “No Kings” protests such as the NGO known as “Indivisible” which was founded by former Democrat staffers Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin both of whom are Jewish. It’s curious why so many involved with these often violent Democrat aligned left-wing groups are either Jewish or of Jewish ancestry and that anti-Israel blocs are slotting themselves into these “No Kings” protests? Investigative researchers Peter Schweizer and Seamus Bruner of the Government Accountability Institute also identified left-wing Jewish billionaires such as Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Salesforce’s Marc Benioff as indirectly funding the Democratic Party’s dark-money NGO network.

Some of the most radical leftist legislation in California is coming from the Democrat Legislative Jewish Caucus from members like Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblyman Jesse Gabriel, Senator Josh Becker, Assemblywoman Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Assemblyman Marc Berman, Assemblyman Josh Lowenthal, Assemblywoman Gail Pellerin among others. Instead of addressing and stopping antisemitism and attacks on California’s publicly funded educational institutions, the Democrat Legislative Jewish Caucus recently issued a statement backing Gov. Newsom in the billion-dollar battle over UCLA’s funding tied to the Trump administration’s crackdown on antisemitism at UCLA.

There’s something sinister going on with those who claim to be Jewish in the Democrat party?

        1. It’s puzzling because it seems self-destructive. I don’t know the answer but I wish I knew. But beyond the general observation that secular Jews are more likely to be politically leftist/radical and Democrat, and religious Jews are more likely to be politically conservative and Republican, it seems to me that all of the high-profile problem Dem politicians in the legislature and elsewhere in the country, are not seriously religious or concerned about doing the right thing, whether Jewish or not. After all, Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, and Joe Biden are nominally Catholic, which no one takes seriously. At least I don’t. As I think you pointed out before, maybe calling yourself a Jew (or a Catholic or a Christian) provides cover for the politician when it is politically convenient to do so and otherwise doesn’t matter to the person at all.

    2. That’s a great video! I like it when Angela started chanting “This is what insanity looks like!”

  6. I like the Grip Reaper sign there. I know it is an advertisement for a Haunted House thing in Plymouth, but it adds to the ambiance of the old geezers.
Also, despite granny’s “not paid agitators” sign, all of the signs are too similarly and “professionally” made. No way those geriatrics made those; except for the two folding chair grampas’ signs. Those look homemade, but I doubt by them. “IMPEACH NOW” LOL

  7. So much of the ills in our current society appear to be the result of giving white, liberal, Baby Boomer women too much power. They grew up in a post-WW2 U.S. surrounded by all of the material excess that this period in time afforded them while being brainwashed by Marxist agitprop and feminist nonsense when they went to college. This ended up affording them a life that was as materialistically abundant as it was vain and shallow after putting careers and their own interests ahead of marriages and families. Now they have this intense sense of self-loathing that they want to spread to everyone else and make us all feel as miserable as they do. Their entire worldview is contradictory and incoherent. They stand there with “No Kings” signs, protesting against what they perceive to be a “tyrant” (a tyrant mind you that is trying to downsize the federal government…the last thing that nay “tyrant” would do) while at the same time, they dutifully put on masks and isolated themselves from everyone else 4 for years because “King” Hairdo (Newsom) told them to. I have had enough with these people. They are only good now for mocking and to be a cautionary tale to the rest of us as to what happens when you have no first principles.
