Following the recent explosive story that Freshman Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) had engaged in an improper “long-term sexual relationship with a female campaign staffer,” and that Hill and her husband, who are in divorce proceedings, were allegedly involved in a lengthy “throuple” relationship with the young staffer, DailyMail.com reported, “Shocking photographs of Democrat Katie Hill posing naked with a tattoo of what appears to be a Nazi-era Iron Cross on her bikini line while smoking a bong and making out with her young female aide.”
“The picture also shows an iron cross tattoo on Hill’s pubic area, similar to the symbols formerly used by white supremacists referencing a World War II Nazi medal.”
The Anti-Defamation League reports that the Iron Cross is “a famous German military medal dating back to the 19th century. During the 1930s, the Nazi regime in Germany superimposed a swastika on the traditional medal, turning it into a Nazi symbol. After World War II, the medal was discontinued but neo-Nazis and other white supremacists subsequently adopted it as a hate symbol and it has been a commonly-used hate symbol ever since,” Daily Wire reported.
“Hill’s wild lifestyle has been laid bare in a cache of texts and intimate photographs obtained by DailyMail.com, as sources revealed Hill and Heslep also posted her naked photos online under a thread called ‘WouldYouF**kMyWife’,” DailyMail.com reported.
The Story Gets Stranger
“A former tenant of the estranged couple said Hill and Heslep, had a ‘sexual relationship’ with a 21-year-old woman in 2010, the same year they were married,” DailyMail.com reported. “Michael Pace, a Los Angeles-based technology analyst, said he rented a room in the couple’s Santa Clarita ranch and ‘walked in on the three of them’ multiple times.”
Hill’s husband Kenny Heslep was told “by numerous sources” that Hill had been involved in a sexual relationship for a year with her then-finance director, now Legislative Director, Graham Kelly, RedState reported.
Following the news reports, the House Ethics Committee on Wednesday opened an investigation into Rep. Katie Hill after RedState’s article exposing that she had an improper relationship with a staffer.
Hill sent a letter to her constituents following the announcement by the House Ethics Committee, admitting to and apologizing for the relationship, adding that she is ‘fully and proactively cooperating with the Ethics Committee’, DailyMail.com reported.

Only now that she’s resigning, all three networks on Monday finally covered the bizarre story of Congresswoman Katie Hill. CBS and NBC totally ignored it last week. MSNBC entirely ignored her controversy, but finally got around to addressing it today.
Nearly all of the networks are calling her a Democratic “rising star.”

Katy, thank you for clearing up the idea that the Iron Cross is a Nazi symbol. You are correct that the Iron Cross symbol has been used in Germany long before the Nazi era. I did find an actual photo of Hill showing the tattoo, but I couldn’t make out a swastika in the center – but then it wasn’t a close-up either. I’d bet it was just the Iron Cross. I agree that if the swastika was there, that would be a different matter. Only a neo-Nazi creep would want a swastika tattoo.

The Maltese Cross (the basic form or the Iron Cross, the apex of the crown on a chess king, and the basis of a great many other awards from a great many countries) is not a Nazi symbol–even the original Iron Cross was not a Nazi symbol as it is (like the Swastika) far older than the Nazis or even the nation of Germany. I would have to see her tattoo to see if the Maltese Cross and the Swastika are combined in it. Now so far as I know that is nothing but a Nazi symbol.
