Propaganda News Outlets are Worried About this Election with Republicans Ignoring Pollsters

It’s the freak party vs. the normies

Propaganda News Outlets are Worried About this Election. “New York Times polling gives all seven U.S. Senate swing states to Democrats, including Kansas and Iowa. The Washington Post released a poll last week showing Democrats winning a U.S. Senate seat in Kansas. But they are concerned because Republicans are refusing to cooperate with their pollsters at higher rates than ever,” John Nolte at Breitbart writes.

He’s right. We even have some polls admitting they deliberately oversampled Democrats, or made up numbers outright.

Wedgewood Polls admitted in late October that the vast majority of its surveys were fabricated as an “experimental project” to demonstrate how easy it is for unverified numbers to enter media coverage and polling aggregators. It said the “vast majority” of its releases had no real data behind them. The firm’s numbers, which usually looked favorable to Democrats in primaries and general-election matchups, had been cited by outlets and included in databases from the New York Times, Decision Desk HQ, and others before being removed after an investigation by FiftyPlusOne.

Similar admissions came from Median Strategies in August, Polling Forecast reported. Median Strategies, admitted it had made up its polls of the Los Angeles mayoral race and the Wisconsin governor’s primary. SoCal Strategies, another dubious pollster, was dissolved in May by Jack Sims. Polls kept coming out under SoCal’s name afterward. After reporters asked about them, its website and social media accounts disappeared on October 22, and FiftyPlusOne stopped collecting its polls.

This is problematic, and Polling Forecast said the polls did real damage.

All of this is to say that media did not do its due diligence and verify the polls – they used them to report on the outcomes they wanted.

The New York Times and Washington Post are still reporting on a blue wave thanks to recent Sienna Polls of seven key Senate states, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Texas), showing Democratic candidates ahead or effectively tied in all of them – states that have not elected a Democratic senator in decades, Kansas since 1932; Texas since 1988.

Nolte correctly opines “That is more like a realignment, a country where even in Kansas voters want kids queered and mutilated to appease their trans godz.”

Polling has genuine problems.

Differential nonresponse is one extremely significant driver. Democrats and more liberal/urban/higher-engagement voters respond to survey invitations at higher rates than Republicans and conservatives – especially in California.

Raw California poll samples frequently oversample Democrats relative to registration, and relative to the eventual electorate, because of response-rate differences. Reputable pollsters weight to correct this.

Do we have any reputable pollsters in California?

Nolte notes that if you read between the lines, though, both the New York Times and the Washington Post, “propaganda outlets are admitting to publishing polls they themselves are unsure of.”

It is clear why Republicans and Conservatives avoid pollsters, and especially in this election cycle. They have their thumbs on the scale and won’t use the information honestly. Too many polls are manipulative instead of informational, and it feeds the media narrative.

And, that the propaganda media continues to use these manipulative polls is evidence that the media is worried about this election.

They should be – it’s the freak party vs. the normies, and it’s never been more clear.

  1. “And, that the propaganda media continues to use these manipulative polls is evidence that the media is worried about this election.”
Oh yes ——- couldn’t agree more with you, Katy, and John Nolte of Breitbart.
    Guess we’ll see……
    (knock wood)

  2. The polls are just as rigged as the elections and the useless propaganda mainstream media is in on the charade.

Thankfully we have honest media outlets with integrity like California Globe to inform us.

Sadly Congress is filled with traitorous RINOs and the fact that Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune couldn’t get the SAVE America Act passed or get rid of the filibuster in the Senate is telling?
