Operational Medical Freedom: Tax-Exempt Medical Savings Accounts

When in the course of California’s human medical events, it becomes necessary for the doctors and patients to dissolve their political bonds with Medi-Cal, run by Governor Gavin Newsom, they are entitled by God to declare the causes which impel them to this separation. And upon identification and clarification of those causes, it is mandatory to devise a new system of governance of the future medical events which will Make California Golden Again (MCGA).

By doing so, California will switch from the worst medical system in America and transform into the best and most powerful medical and common-sense system, thereby becoming the leading state in the union in helping President Trump Make America Great Again (MAGA). 

Having established Medi-Cal as the law of the state, we Californians now struggle with communist healthcare and the oppressive stronghold it is. We made a bad choice, and have become very sick, weak, and woke. However, we were tricked.   As such, communist healthcare has abandoned the Hippocratic Oath, established by Hippocrates as the laws of medicine, in 450 BC.  Those covenants, including Honor, Teaching, Limitations, Abjuring Harm, Availability, and Privacy, are not included in the Medi-Cal agenda.   Thus caring, empathetic, and compassionate treatment of patients is not part of this twisted, lying program.  And yet, caring is the most important ingredient of the powerful process called healing, and we need it back!

Let us now declare those causes that impel our separation from Medi-Cal and devise that amazing new system that will supply healing for ALL Californians, physicians and patients alike.

The FIRST cause for the dissolution of doctors and patients from Medi-Cal is economic, and it dates back a half-century. In 1961, Ronald Reagan, even before he became governor of California, warned us that medicine was a method of imposing communism on free market societies. He said that it is easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, and that most people would be reluctant to oppose anything that might suggest medical help for other people who possibly can’t afford it.  

What Newsom has done since Reagan’s time with Medi-Cal is replace facts with feelings and disguise capitalism with progressivism (social improvement by government action) and completely flip the script.  His erroneous theories have proven to demonstrate a destructive pattern instead of social improvement.  Medi-Cal is a broken mess outwardly and an economic disaster when you look at the books.   Although he was able to con California taxpayers into providing medical help for people who POSSIBLY couldn’t afford it, the entire process was a ruse.  

The VAST majority of California citizens are able-bodied, and able-minded.  God does not create junk.  God has also told us that we need to uphold a WORK ETHIC that he defines in 2 Thessalonians 3:10….” If you do not work, you do not eat”.  Thus, Newsom is a liar and an encourager and enabler of laziness, apathy, and complacency in many citizens (and non-citizens), forcing taxpayers to carry the freight of non-taxpayers until those taxpayers get fed up and leave the state in a situation where nobody works but everybody remaining mills around in a stew of communism, dependance, and starvation of drive and initiative, just waiting to die without purpose.  

Recently, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made us aware of our high-calorie processed food diets and lack of exercise as characteristics of this culture of obese and out-of-shape specimens. Add to that the inhabitants of skid row, the skinny and out-of-shape psychotic and drug addicted.  We will not put up with this scenario, will we!?

Look at the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and now even Sacramento.  It’s horrendous.  How do you think it might look in California hospitals nowadays with this culture?  What might you suspect in the attitudes of doctors and nurses and patients in this type of environment?  You might suspect that it’s hopeless, but please don’t.  We can do a lot better if we put our heads together and devise a new system.  

All Newsom does is claim that California’s government is not bankrupt, and that healthcare is a human right, and that he is sensitive to “housing, food, and climate insecurities” as well. He has been promising that California residents are entitled to housing, grocery and climate stability along with his Medi-Cal entitlement for a long time now, and things don’t get better, they get progressively worse.  For this reason, we voters of this state must now ask ourselves whether we want to go on with this plan or not, because people will vote their “paycheck” above all else, especially if they are paid not to work, and we need a strong counter to that tendency.

The SECOND cause for the dissolution of doctors and patients from Medi-Cal is fraud, waste, and abuse of the resources of Californians by Newsom.   To think that he would tax the workers of this state to fund Medi-Cal and then siphon off this money, which was “apparently” ear-marked for goods and services meant for healing (pharmaceuticals and physicians and surgeons and hospitals) is almost unspeakable.  And then to distribute this ill-gotten cash to corrupt entities all over the place (Newsom’s own pocketbook and crooked enterprises, statewide, nationwide, and worldwide) is revolting and indecent.   

The Medi-Cal and Medicare federal fraud czars are now uncovering trillions of dollars of theft, fraud, waste, and abuse.  Rationing of medical goods, and in particular “in patient” services such as psychiatric care, medical care, and surgery, is horribly abusive to the patients who need these treatments to remain alive!  Rationing causes undue suffering and death.  It is also a violation of the California citizen’s right to the pursuit of good, affordable, and safe health!

For example, the pain of many diseases which demand diagnosis and prompt treatment is what keeps physicians and surgeons working hard and diligently, trying to be as quick, efficient, accurate, and safe as possible in alleviating that pain.  Rationing causes massive undue suffering and aggravating pain, and all of it is avoidable. 

Consider placing an elderly woman with occult rectal bleeding in a waiting line for eventual evaluation of the cause (at which time she will develop a metastatic and terminal inoperable colon cancer). This is no different from placing that same patient in front of a firing squad. That is abusive negligence and heartbreaking loss of life. It happens more every day. Yet Newsom doesn’t even appear to be remorseful. The point is that unremorseful death is the result of violent theft and non-payment for the medical team trying to help the patients.  It’s called 3^rd world medicine, not California medicine. Should you and I continue to watch this happen!? 

The THIRD cause for dissolution of doctors and patients from Medi-Cal is the incitement of political prejudice among individual Californians and groups of Californians by Newsom. This prejudice is the source of rebellious behavior and outright hatred. Call it the blame game. I’m right, you’re wrong.

Billy Graham defines it this way…” The tares of indulgence have overgrown the wheat of moral restraint. All humanity is guilty. But each faction of society seeks to place the blame upon others.” Graham cites examples like Democrats vs. Republicans, Capitalists vs. Communists, East vs. West, and Capital vs. Labor as the source of accusations, denouncements, fault finding, blame, hatred, and unforgiveness. Graham then defines himself as an optimist, stating that the world problems are big, but God is bigger! (pg. 136, Unto the Hills)

What if we all just take a deep breath, look around us, and consider the possibility that if we were to stop pointing fingers at each other and recognize that it is our out-of-control, poisonous “big government” snake that is the source of our huge Medi-Cal mess, we could handily solve the problem? 

 It is time to end the bureaucracy that is smothering the art of medicine.  Medicine and surgery operate smoothly, affordably, satisfyingly, and safely, only when doctors and patients trust each other. Medicine without caring only injures the patient, but medicine with caring heals the patient. Medicine without caring aggravates the pain. Medicine with caring alleviates the pain.

In summary, the three causes listed above are rationale for the dissolution of all doctors and patients in California from the suffocating stronghold called Medi-Cal.  Now let us design an affordable, competent, satisfying, and safe system of medical diagnosis and treatment, available for ALL Californians at ALL times.

A little objective analysis and evaluation of the flaws of “healthcare insurance” should help us immensely as we design an efficient and unbiased, fiscally responsible medical care policy. Obamacare, also known as Newsomcare or Medi-Cal, is a forced insurance plan upon every citizen in California. It is the same as forcing every driver in California to have auto insurance.  

California citizens generally do not like authority to tell them what to do, yet this is exactly what our crooked healthcare insurance companies are forcing us to do.  And none of us know the first thing about how much money is charged for healthcare insurance, how much is paid out, how much is stolen, how much is wasted, how much is price gouged, and how much is price fixed!  

So, what if we were to DEMAND a choice when it comes to healthcare insurance by creating tax-exempt medical savings accounts for every family, and every dependent in those families, just like every other savings account in our free-market system? These accounts would be immune to government taxation and regulation. We would keep the sticky fingers of the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board off our money, earmarked for all our medical needs, everything from tooth cleaning to gallbladder removal to hearing aids.  Let me tell you from the standpoint of a physician, I would readily PREFER cash payment from you when you make a deal with me for treatment meant to heal you, hands down! And I would soundly reject health insurance.  Show me a doctor in California that wouldn’t prefer cash payment without a middleman, and I will show you a capitalist illiterate!

This tax-exempt medical savings account, or TEMSA, would be a catalyst for folks to get up and get to work and start building wealth for their families, paying attention to fiscal and civic health, as well as physical, emotional and Spiritual health…” The holistic healthy American citizen”!  Medi-Cal isn’t worth the paper it is printed on. It is an endangered species, soon to be extinct. The competition for our business would be fierce and exciting, driving down the cost and producing the highest quality and safest medical service possible.  

Tax exempt medical savings accounts (TEMSA) for every member of every family is the way to go. It allows you to keep your hands on your hard-earned money and spend it yourself on your medical needs and keeping it away from Newsom!   Compounding interest and growth of these accounts through the working years assures us that when we get old, we won’t be a burden on our kids and grandkids, but rather a heritage demonstrating how to live and how to die a high-quality existence, hopefully moving on to eternity “Under God”!  And if you don’t use it up, distribute it into the medical savings accounts of your heirs, non-taxed!        

 It all begins with a vote!  So, my fellow Californians, get educated, get informed, and get involved!  Let’s make it a team effort RIGHT NOW and make California golden again…MCGA.
