Video Resurfaces: Jennifer Siebel Newsom Takes Kids to Southern Red States to Witness Racism, Misogyny, Bullying, and Sexism
Condescending Siebel Newsom could tank her husband’s presidential ambitions

Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of Governor Gavin Newsom and California’s self-described “First Partner,” did a 2023 interview on MSNBC with former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, discussing her family’s trip to Alabama and other red states.
The family trip was presented as a deliberate educational outing rather than casual tourism.

Psaki asks Siebel Newsom why she brought her four kids on the trip to learn about the country.
“Mmmm, that’s a good question,” Siebel Newsom says, as if it’s the first time she heard it.
Siebel Newsom said she took her children to several southern states in 2023 to expose them to lessons about bullying, misogyny, and racism that she felt were lacking in their regular education, “so they can use their voices to stand up and speak out when they see pain and suffering and bullying and racism and misogyny,” and “so they themselves can be the change they wish to see in the world.”
She said that she and Governor Newsom took their children on the trip so they could understand American history, build empathy, and see how they could contribute to solutions rather than problems. She said the trip was to visit sites like a Civil Rights Museum in Alabama, another Civil Rights Museum in Mississippi, the Equal Justice Initiative, the Legacy Museum, and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice.
Psaki asked why the trip, which included stops in Southern red states, including Alabama and Florida, mattered for the kids; Siebel Newsom framed it as educational exposure to historical and social challenges concentrated in certain areas, claiming this is not taught in schools.
With Gavin Newsom campaigning around the country for President under the thin guise of a book tour, his wife’s interview clip has resurfaced and gone viral. Because Siebel Newsom comes off extremely condescending–especially with her gross assumptions and snobby treatment of red states, implying bullying, misogyny, and racism are unique to the South.
Notably, Siebel Newsom is silent on California’s myriad corruption problems under her husband’s eight years as governor including massive debt, massive fraud including Medi-Cal fraud, homeless fraud, EDD fraud, High Speed Train to Nowhere fraud, and missing Palisades Fire Aid funds…to name a few.
Psaki and Siebel Newsom also discussed her documentary, “Miss Representation.” Siebel Newsom is billed as a filmmaker and gender equity advocate, a “women as victims” expert, and a “Media Representative.”
Is this elite hypocrisy? Yes.
Released IRS filings in early March reveal that First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom and her production company, Girls Club LLC, have collectively received more than $3.7 million over the past decade from The Representation Project—the nonprofit she founded in 2011 to “combat gender stereotypes through films and advocacy.”
She pays herself a lot of money from her own non-profit film companies.
The Newsom’s hypocritical and elitist trip to the “racist” red states was during Covid while California was still under lockdown orders by her husband, Governor Gavin Newsom. The Newsom’s had lots of restaurant outings and some really big trips during Covid.
The Governor and First Partner still have not lived down being caught mask-less attending a birthday dinner in Napa Valley in November 2020 at the famed Michelin-starred restaurant, The French Laundry in Yountville, while he locked the state down, ordered businesses and schools closed, and mandated social distancing and masks we reported.
The Newsoms were caught in 2021 as they stayed at a $23,000 to $29,000 per night villa, La Datcha Cabo San Lucas villa, owned by Russian entrepreneur and businessman Oleg Tinkov. Sources reported to the Globe from their Cabo rental that they could see the 10,000 to 12,000 square foot villa the Newsoms were in, and said it comes with two chefs, four to five servers, personal trainers, and around-the-clock staff.
So while they were tanning and dining in style, Californians were told to stay home, shelter-in-place, work from home if you still had a job, and school your kids on Zoom from the dining table.
“CNN’s so-called ‘black sheep’ Scott Jennings blasted the First Partner as ‘condescending’ on his radio show Monday,” the Daily Mail reported.
‘The idea that we need to take our kids to Alabama — it’s the only way they’ll ever learn about racism — I mean, these people. They have no idea how they sound. There’s no self-awareness, absolutely nothing,’ Jennings said.
Siebel Newsom’s public statements could become a significant liability for her husband’s anticipated presidential campaign as he eyes 2028. Jennings agrees. “This lady, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is gonna be a real problem for poor old Gavin. The condescension towards everyone else in America is so thick,” he told his audience, advising Democrats to “look inwards” at issues within their own states rather than criticizing others.

Actress Rose McGowan accused Jennifer Siebel Newsom of attempting to silence her regarding allegations against Harvey Weinstein. McGowan claims that in 2017, six months before The New York Times exposé on Weinstein, Jennifer Siebel Newsom contacted her on behalf of David Boies, Weinstein’s lawyer, asking, “What it would take to make you happy?” It was an overture McGowan interpreted as an attempt to buy her silence.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom denied wrongdoing, stating she reached out as a fellow survivor and through her work with The Representation Project, aiming to support healing. She claimed she asked what Boies could do to help McGowan heal, not to suppress her story. McGowan disputes this, alleging infiltration of a victim support group and calling the outreach a bribe attempt. Jennifer Gavin Newsom faced scrutiny over ties to Boies, including accepting a $300 bottle of wine from him in 2017.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom testified in the Los Angeles trial of Harvey Weinstein and accused him of raping her in a Beverly Hills hotel suite in 2005. She described a traumatic, hours-long assault during what she believed was a professional meeting, detailing how Weinstein forced her into the bedroom, groped her, and performed oral sex on her while she cried and resisted.
Throughout contentious and combative cross-examination during the trial, Weinstein’s attorney, Mark Werksman, spent at least two hours displaying dozens of emails for the jury that showcased Jennifer Siebel Newsom arranging business meetings with Weinstein, asking him for producing advice and seeking political donations for her husband, California Governor Gavin Newsom.
The controversy intensified when it was revealed that she emailed Weinstein in 2007, about two years after the alleged assault, seeking advice on handling “bad press” during a sex scandal involving her then-boyfriend, Gavin Newsom, who was mayor of San Francisco at the time. Siebel Newsom testified that she maintained contact with Weinstein afterward because he was a powerful industry figure, stating, “I was scared of him, but I was trying to be nice” and that continuing business communication was a way to “take control back.”
As Weinstein’s attorney was shuffling through pages of emails, Siebel Newsom repeatedly said that she did not recall sending any emails, but acknowledged that she likely did. “It’s so funny. My life is so full. I don’t remember,” she said. “I send so many emails, I have so many friends, so many acquaintances. This is just business. This is just networking.”
“I have sent hundreds of thousands of emails to people all around the world,” Siebel Newsom added. Werksman responded, “But only one is accused of despicable acts.”
One of the emails sent by Siebel Newsom was an invitation to a fundraising event for Newsom, during the time when he was the mayor of San Francisco. Siebel Newsom explained that she often would send email blasts to large groups of people that included various producers, directors, writers, agents and executives, not necessarily realizing that Weinstein was part of that group.
“It’s a long list of people,” she said. “I was trying to help my boyfriend, almost husband,” she said of Newsom, adding that “Weinstein was a big democratic donor.”
Another time, when the couple was in New York for the Clinton Global Initiative, Siebel Newsom emailed Weinstein asking if he was available to catch up. “This was political,” she explained.
Werksman brought up Weinstein’s political donations to Newsom, at one point asking why her husband took money from somebody who had done “something despicable” to her.
“He didn’t know it was bad money until the whole world knew about the #MeToo movement in Oct. 2017?” the attorney asked. “Is that just politics? That you just take money from someone who has done something despicable to your wife, unless everybody finds out about it?”
In various emails sent in the months after the alleged assault in 2005, Siebel Newsom sent Weinstein messages to ask about meeting up for business purposes. In an email sent in 2006, she said she would “love to catch up” at the Toronto International Film Festival. Later, she emailed to arrange a meeting at the Cannes Film Festival. In another email sent in 2007, she thanked Weinstein for having her and her husband at an Oscars party. She also invited Weinstein to a screening of one of her films and asked him to “keep your eyes and ears open for any roles.”
“I was just hustling [and] networking,” Siebel Newsom said. Weinstein’s attorney shot back, “You were hustling with the man you claimed violently raped you?”
Werksman began his cross-examination by prodding into Siebel Newsom’s memory of the alleged events, asking why she left out certain details in various interviews with detectives, only to bring them up in interviews or testimony at a later date.

Not surprisingly, the jury failed to convict Weinstein of the alleged 2005 assault of Jennifer Siebel Newsom.

Breitbart is reporting that Jennifer Siebel Newsom says she has tried to deprogram her boys on traditional sex roles by making them play with dolls and gender-swapping the heroes in books she reads to them. She even admitted that things are going on in the Newsom household that might warrant a visit from social services.
She said: “At the end of the day we’re all kind of in a place in history maybe where recognizing what’s ultimately deconstruct gender roles and ultimately be human. And that’s exciting to me,” she continues. “So you know, I’ll just continue kind of do my work and try [to] deconstruct all these limiting narratives about what it means to be a woman.”

I have 4 grandchildren going to school in Alabama. When I visit the first thing I notice is how polite people are and that includes people of color. They happily work and go to school together. Newsom is a lier and a fool.
