House Ethics Investigation Opened in Rep. Katie Hill ‘Throuple’ Scandal Affair With Staffer
Gross employment violations as well as an abundance of bad judgment

Binge drinking, sex with staffers, alleged threesomes with her husband and a staffer, a year-long relationship with her legislative director … the life of Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) appears to be unraveling quickly.
Hill’s abundance of bad judgement is front and center, but so are some gross employment violations.
In a press statement, House Ethics Committee Chairman Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.) and ranking member Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-Texas) said, “The Committee is aware of public allegations that Representative Katie Hill may have engaged in a sexual relationship with an individual on her congressional staff, in violation of House Rule XXIII, clause 18(a). The Committee, pursuant to Committee Rule 18(a), has begun an investigation and will gather additional information regarding the allegations.”
“The Committee notes that the mere fact that it is investigating these allegations, and publicly disclosing its review, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the Committee. No other public comment will be made on this matter except in accordance with Committee rules.”
Hill has denied the allegations.
House rules were changed last year to prohibit inappropriate sexual relationships between members and their employees.
RedState reports in an update:
“…an elected official from a jurisdiction in Hill’s district told RedState on condition of anonymity that Hill was observed at a local event in mid-July visibly intoxicated, and that one of Hill’s staffers pulled Hill aside, saying, ‘We need to leave. You shouldn’t be here right now.’ Hill then left the event without incident.”
“The House Ethics Committee on Wednesday opened an investigation into Rep. Katie Hill after a conservative website published unsubstantiated accusations that she had an improper relationship with a staffer,” AP reported.
“Unsubstantiated.” RedState published photos, text messages, Tweets, and had testimony, including photos showing naked Congresswoman Katie Hill sitting on a chair in her office, brushing a female coworker’s hair at work. (Click to view image Warning:Explicit)
In a press statement Tuesday, Hill, playing the victim, denied having the affair with her legislative director, and asked U.S. Capitol Police to open an investigation into how the intimate photos were posted online without her consent.
She claimed her husband was abusive, yet conducted an alleged threesome relationship with him, and her young staffer.
“During the final tumultuous years of my abusive marriage, I became involved in a relationship with someone on my campaign. I know that even a consensual relationship with a subordinate is inappropriate, but I still allowed it to happen despite my better judgment,” Hill wrote in a statement sent to supporters Wednesday obtained by The Associated Press. “For that I apologize. I wish nothing but the best for her and hope everyone respects her privacy in this difficult time.”
Where are the feminists outraged by the predatory nature of Rep. Hill’s behavior with a young female staffer? This is a textbook #MeToo moment, yet the feminists, who so loudly screeched abuse when male lawmakers preyed on female staffers, are silent.
“Former Congressman Steve Knight (R-CA) must be dumbfounded today,” California Globe reported earlier this week. “He lost his race for reelection in 2018 in the 25th Congressional District during the California Democrat ballot harvesting slaughter, to newcomer Katie Hill.”
The election was a mystery as Hill only had 24,507 votes in the Primary Election, but beat Knight with 133,209 votes to his 111,813 in the General Election, but after Election Day.
The Primary election shows a total of 57,034 votes combined between Hill and the three other challengers, to Knight’s 61,411.
Following her win, Speaker Nancy Pelosi bestowed leadership positions upon Hill: she is a member of House leadership and is vice chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, making her one of the most powerful House freshmen.

Ballot harvesting must be overturned immediately to prevent unqualified, unstable Democrats like this from polluting our politics.
Where’s Harmeet Dhillon to file suit against CA legislators for passing ballot harvesting?
Why isn’t proof of US citizenship required at CA voting places???
