Spreckels Union School Board Meeting: Exposing Activist Teachers Recruiting Kids

The ways activist educators deliberately deceive and circumvent parents

Normally, notice of the Spreckels Union School District board meeting Wednesday evening would not register on anyone’s radar.  But the Spreckles school district has been in the news recently for subverting parents on issues surrounding gender identity. In short, parents reported two teachers from the California Teacher’s Association LGBTQ training are from Spreckels Union School District, and shared how they stalked their students’ Google searches and conversations in order to recruit for their LGBTQ club. And the two teachers trained other staff in how to evade parents.

Abigail Schrier is a parent, writer, and the author of IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters (2020), recently wrote a column exposing how activist teachers recruit kids after receiving leaked audio from a meeting of California Teacher’s Association, the state’s largest teachers union.

“Last month, the California Teachers Association (CTA) held a conference advising teachers on best practices for subverting parents, conservative communities and school principals on issues of gender identity and sexual orientation,” Schrier said. “Speakers went so far as to tout their surveillance of students’ Google searches, internet activity, and hallway conversations in order to target sixth graders for personal invitations to LGBTQ clubs, while actively concealing these clubs’ membership rolls from participants’ parents.”

“Documents and audio files recently sent to me, and authenticated by three conference participants, permitted a rare insight into the CTA’s sold-out event in Palm Springs, held from October 29-31, 2021. The “2021 LGBTQ+ Issues Conference, Beyond the Binary: Identity & Imagining Possibilities,” provided best practices workshops that encouraged teachers to “have the courage to create a safe environment that fosters bravery to explore sexual orientation, gender identity and expression,” according to the precis of a talk given by fifth grade teacher, C. Scott Miller.”

She says, “If you’re concerned about the ways activist educators deliberately deceive and circumvent parents, it might be a good idea to show up” to the board meeting Wednesday.

Kelly, a local Monterey County mom has spoken with the Globe about these issues, outlining her fight in Monterey County and against the Salinas School District over Critical Race Theory curriculum. She has been counseling and coaching other parents on how to research the curriculum. She obtained actual curriculum documents through California Public Record Act requests, and has been sharing the specifics with parents, and the Globe.

She said there is a high percentage of illiteracy among students in the Salinas school district as many students do not speak English as a first language. She said these children are being used and taken advantage of by certain activist teachers who feed them “specialty books” for new English readers, but the books are inappropriate, activist tomes, and some are even sexualized.

She also started A Time To Stand Podcast to further expose what is actually taking place in California public schools, and to help other parents expose subversive teachers, and fight the school districts on the obvious sexual grooming of children taking place.

You now have an idea of what tonight’s Spreckles Union School District board meeting will be about. Parents are livid.

Schrier said in her article “if students aren’t especially interested in attending an LGBTQ club, if the leaders have trouble maintaining membership, if parents oppose them and schools, as Caldeira complains, often fail to support them—why on earth are teachers pushing them? “For those of you that are running or are thinking of running your own GSA or GSA-type club, always remember that youth are the drivers of change,” Caldeira offers. If you want to bring a new world into existence, it seems—a good place to start is with other people’s kids.”

“Next year, we’re going to do just a little mind-trick on our sixth graders.”

The Globe has also covered the “creeping, social justice warrior, alt-left takeover of the Santa Barbara Unified School District,” and the significant curriculum change pushing racist, LGBT, SJW agenda on children.

And in 2019, the Globe covered the huge parent rally opposing the California Department of Education’s 1000 page framework document, 2019 Health Education Curriculum Framework for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through 12th Grade. Parents presented a 24 page summary with excerpts for K-6th grade health lessons, complete with pictures of some of the recommended supplemental materials (featured image).

Livestream of the Spreckels Union School Board meeting will be available here.

The Globe will follow up and report on the meeting.
