The Non-Presidential Candidate Gov. Gavin Newsom is Going to China, Israel
If we had a proficient President, he would publicly humiliate the pesky, pushy California governor for swerving out of his narrow lane

California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is making a trip to China ostensibly to take a climate-focused tour of the Country, announced Thursday he will make a swing through Israel – during a war.
Newsom is already being mocked for his China trip, with critics saying his trip “proves that Newsom doesn’t care about technology espionage or human rights issues.”
Think about that – a governor of one state in the 50 United States is going to China, and then to Israel “to meet with victims of the Israeli-Hamas war.” What? Newsom’s office said California is also sending medical supplies to the region, including provisions intended for the Gaza Strip.
Newsom is a governor – of a state – in a country of 50 states… unless the real purpose of the trip is to burnish his international credentials because he has already measured the White House drapes and checked out the formal dinnerware. Hmmm.
We are expected to believe that feeble President Joe Biden is running for reelection, while Gavin Newsom makes a world tour campaigning, simultaneously pretending that he as a governor is a world leader capable of running the United States.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so treacherous.
Laughably, one headline said Newsom heads to Israel for surprise visit ahead of China trip. Surprise?
If we had a proficient President, he would publicly humiliate the pesky pushy California governor for swerving out of his narrow lane. Sadly, Newsom’s predecessor, Jerry Brown, had the same problem – he saw himself as a world leader capable of negotiating important climate change treaties.
In 2017, then-Governor Brown took a trip to China “to meet with Communist dictator President Xi Jinping, signaling to the world his fidelity to the unratified and dubious Paris Climate treaty, in spite of President Donald Trump’s recent withdrawal from the pact,” I reported. “Brown should be investigated for colluding with a known foreign enemy upon his return to the United States–a federal republic of 50 states of which he is but one governor. It is unconstitutional for a state to supplant federal powers and act on its own when dealing with other nations. Brown’s trip to China to enter into a treaty as a sovereign nation is unconstitutional on several levels, and violates the Logan Act.”
But as with Jerry Brown’s “non-binding” agreement with President Xi Jinping, no doubt Newsom will do the same. “Non-binding?” How non-binding is a climate change agreement when it directly impacts the California taxpayers with exponentially higher energy costs, gas tax increases, and draconian regulations on the trucking industry, just to name a few of the implications?
Gov. Newsom has a few serious issues in California he should be dealing with, which may not get him elected President, but would help stave off the rapid decline of the Golden State… if he cared at all.
The Wall Street Journal editorial board has a timely piece today exposing Newsom’s crime-laden state, while his nemesis, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has actually reduced crime in his:
“In California violent crime is still up 13% since 2019. In Florida it’s down 31.5%. The rate of violent crime in Mr. Newsom’s state last year, 499.5 per 100,000 people, was nearly double that in Mr. DeSantis’s domain, 258.9 per 100,000.”
California Gov. Gavin Newsom isn’t running for president in 2024, at least not yet, but he has agreed to a televised Fox News debate next month with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. One worthy topic will be their respective economic records, but they should also spend some time on public safety.
“The nearby chart shows a longer view. Amid the Covid lockdowns, the George Floyd protests, and a public backlash toward law enforcement, violence shot up in Florida, as in many other states, though California stayed on a higher plateau. But the real difference is what happened next: in 2021 and 2022, violent crime plunged in Florida while surging in California. One caveat is that the FBI in 2021 changed its methodology for calculating crime rates, but this affected all states, so it isn’t responsible for the obvious divergence.”

Doing the people’s business isn’t sexy, and the issues may seem droll. But as ambitious politicians like Newsom stray further and further from the needs of the people who elected him, in favor of the “needs” of the campaign donors and financiers, it could backfire.
Newsom’s record is abysmal – going all the way back to when he was Mayor of San Francisco. He has been rewarded for his deficiencies and inadequacies and failed up.
Does his record matter? Not to the news media – they like his hair.
Does his record matter? Not to the labor unions who first got him elected, then saved him during the recall election, and have been duly rewarded since by the governor.
Does his record matter? Not to the Big Tech oligarchs in Silicon Valley, who also helped get him elected and are rewarded with friendly legislation.
But when comparing governor to governor – Newsom to DeSantis – Governor Newsom’s California, can be partially summed up this way in this incomplete list of disastrous policy decisions:
- Water rationing
- Highest taxes in the nation
- businesses fleeing to other states
- Dramatically increasing crime
- Cities in decline
- multiple labor unions striking
- growing mentally-ill, drug addicted homeless population littering streets with feces and drug needles
- denied housing vouchers in Los Angeles
- reparations for descendants of slaves
- $7.00-per-gallon-gas
- porn in K-12 curriculum
- State mandated secrecy of gender transitioning children from parents
- COVID mandatory vaccine bills
- Single Payer health coverage – Socialized medicine
- public school teachers strikes
- energy shortage, rolling blackouts
- Newsom’s COVID State of Emergency order from March 2020 until the end of February 2023
- Newsom’s Vaccine mandates for school children, days after opposing one for prison guards
- Newsom signed AB 5 into law, killing off the state’s independent contractors

Katy, I appreciate your detailed list of policies that Newsom and the democrats have unleashed on California that will have the long-term effect of turning California into Venezuela, with the old adage.as California goes so goes the nation we see their plans are to ultimately destroy this nation as “we” know it. Newsom is just a power-hungry mosquito trying to bite his way to the big stage one failed policy at a time in his vision of the “California way”. We can see from history that policies like Newsoms always fall under their own weight. They do not build a successful harmonious society they only tear it down. So, the real question is does Newsom make it to the big stage before the policies that you adeptly listed catch up to him? My bet is that they do, and that Newsom doesn’t last much longer on any stage. We see a resistance building against this con. Keep up the good work and don’t grow weary of doing good.
Treacherous, for sure. And backfire for sure, if there is any justice left in this world, as a result of these extremely mock-able actions by the Gov. But what would we expect from a guy who has ZERO insight and has been the poster boy for narcissistic personality disorder (God complex) for way too-many years running?
When this epic Katy Grimes call-out goes viral, as it should, Gov Gavin Gruesome will be exposed even further to the four corners of the U.S as the malevolent circus clown Californians know so well, who —– just in time for Halloween —- is ready to stab in the back his withered and disabled competition as he swerves his tricycle in and out of his lane on the circus floor, honking his clown horn all the way. How could there NOT be backlash?
Gavin Newsom is trying to demonstrate his fealty to the Council on Foreign Relations/Five Eyes globalist empire. The Clintons did something similar. The British Empire has turned into a “globalist” empire in the mold of visionary Cecil Rhodes (and others) to create an English-language system of systems – dominated by debt, central control, and an obliteration of culture, nationality, family, etc. The “China” he is visiting is the “China” that is the sweat shop slave labor factory that undercuts all other imperial domains manufacturing bases. The Israel he visits is a tool to prevent the reconstitution of Arab lands in the ruins of the Ottoman Empire – Persia is split, Turkey is weak, all other states are under the thumb or under the gun of the big bad bulldog of the empire (i.e. the U.S.).
The U.S. is the idiot cousin, the rich, dumb, powerful tool used to smash any who would attempt to slow the spread of the empire. Why should any of us, Californians, care at all about Chinese manufacturing? Why should any of us care about intrigues adjacent the Suez Canal? We have resource wealth, human capital, infrastructure, culture, history, food, science enough to literally solve our own problems, and our self defence, with complete autonomy and sovereignty as a state in the union. We don’t need any foriegn entanglements to ensure our prosperity – the Five Eyes anglosphere globalist empire needs all that. To hell with them and to hell with Gavin Newsom.
POTUS aspirations is merely a mental occupation tool for application to and on the American electorate. Newsom knows elections nothing more than a formality intended to keep the natives from becoming restless and their outcome thoroughly controlled.
His aspirations is a fundamental role in the WEF’s NWO potentially pursuant to an incited WW III.

May I add the trip to Israel feeds the needs of the Military Industrial Complex lobbyists who control our federal government. Newsom must demonstrate he can play in the big boy sand box. His buddies he partied with up at the French Laundry do not have the deep pockets of the war profiteers and our small time. Aunt Nancy has taught him how to gain the system even if he may not be a viable presidential candidate. He needs to level up in order to get to the top.

Was just thinking this morning that the whole “New California”/secession option is SO attractive…let’s just wall off the San Franfreakshow Bay Area into its own state, so the insanity that emanates from it can be contained where it’s appreciated, and the rest of us can peacefully get along with our lives with hopefully more NORMAL leadership, rather than suffering under the crazy machinations of Scott “Let Me Show You My” Wiener, Evan Low, Richard Pan, Buffy “Dead Eyes” Wicks and all the other clown-show legislators that generate insane proposals like popcorn kernels popping off almost daily….

But you left out all the gun control bills he signed and his executive order banning the death penalty after California voters rejected ballot propositions to end it in two consecutive elections. What deal did Newsom cut with Kamala Harris, in order to maneuver himself into the Biden VP slot for 2024?
Newsom will not take a direct path to POTUS because the is too toxic to the rest of the nation. Nor does he have the chops or charisma to carry out a national campaign for anything. Plus he has to get past his ex-wife Kimberly Guillfoyle first, who has the receipts.
But sliding (slithering) in a side door is more his style. How does he bop off Kamala first – the missing link in this tale.

More possible food for thought: I also read this morning at Elizabeth Nickson’s very fine and intriguing Substack that several years ago, according to her, in her (former) misguided “green” state of mind, she attended a “green building conference” in S.F. where Gavin Newsom and Bobby Kennedy, Jr. were the keynote speakers, which I found interesting. 1) Didn’t know, or hadn’t remembered or thought, that those two were ever affiliated, even though it makes a lot of sense; and 2) is it possible that this affiliation, if it has continued, explains Kennedy’s recent decision to switch his run for president from Dem to “Independent” (a.k.a. “spoiler,” one might argue), which would (also, one might argue) enable Newsom to snag the Presidency should he somehow manage to “slither” (love that) into the Dem nominee spot?
(By the way, I also remember Bobby Kennedy Jr. coming into my own town to speak at a “green” meet-and-greet elbow-rub at a local college several years ago; trying to “educate,” dont-cha-know. If you judge someone by the company he keeps, I noted at the time that this event was attended by the most dastardly and wacko “green” destroyers in my area, who were apparently Kennedy’s acolytes. I know a lot of people admire Kennedy for his vaccine-work-of-the-moment, but they should also remember his views and work re climate change extremism. As far as I know he still holds them?)
