I joined Jon Fleischman Thursday on his Substack live “So, Does it Matter?” We discussed the Billionaire tax, which really will eventually tax everyone on their assets, the Governor’s race, and whether or not voters will choose a Republican was governor, the $231 billion High Speed Rail debacle, Gov. Gavin Newsom who wants to be President, and the First Partner…
At Jon’s substack, So Does it Matter? (the best version, by far!)
Live with Jon and special guest Katy Grimes of the California Globe! at Katy’s Substack.

I think Katy, should have been given more time to interject her opinions and thoughts.. I look forward to her insight on what’s going on the hill. DONT get me wrong, Jon had some good comments and thoughts that line up with my thoughts and have crossed my mind also, about everything that was discussed. Good exposer for the Globe too. But yea. More time. I will try to tune into to Jon more often.
I agree with “Unjabbed”. I had expected an in-depth conversation with Jon & Katy complementing each other with their respective insights to the serious issues facing we residents of California. It seems like this podcast only used Katy Grimes as a prop. When she did try to comment, too many times Jon spoke over her, drowning out any substantive comment she was trying to make. I like Jon’s daily printed postings, but this podcast was a disservice to Katy and the listeners.
